Dağcı Dahlmeier, Karakoram Sıradağları’nda Hayatını Kaybetti
According to The New York Times, experienced mountaineer Dahlmeier lost her life as a result of being hit by falling rocks while climbing in the Karakoram Mountains.
Dahlmeier’s climbing partner Marina Krauss, on the other hand, survived the accident without injury.
Karrar Haidri, the official from the “Pakistan Alpine Club,” reported that Dahlmeier had an accident on July 28 at the Laila summit at an altitude of about 5,500 meters in the Karakoram Mountains.
Regional official Faizullah Firak confirmed the death of the 31-year-old German athlete.
Dahlmeier had won two gold and one bronze medal in the Olympics throughout her career.
